Each helicopter is booked through its own Airbnb listing — just hit “Book Now” on the pod's page and you'll be taken straight there with your dates carried over, with the full protection of Airbnb's booking and payment system.
A small kitchenette (fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster) with crockery, cutlery and a washing-up kit for four; electric lighting and USB charging sockets inside; a drinking-water tap outside; and a picnic bench and gravelled area of your own. There's a double bed and a set of bunk beds, sleeping up to four.
This is a basic glamping experience, so bring your own bedding (sleeping bags work well), pillows and towels, plus warm layers — there's no heating inside. Bring your food and drink too. There's electricity and USB charging, but no wifi.
Not inside the helicopter. There are shower and toilet facilities, plus a pot-wash area, on the campsite at North Yorkshire Water Park — a short walk from the pods.
No — the pods are off-grid, with no hot water or heating inside the airframe. That's part of the adventure, so pack warm bedding. Shower and toilet facilities are available on the campsite.
Sorry, no — dogs aren't allowed in our helicopter glamping pods.
Yes — there's one free parking space on site per pod. Arrival directions are sent with your booking confirmation.
Helicopters weren't designed with step-free access in mind — you'll need to climb steps up into the airframe, and the ground is uneven. Please contact us before booking if you have specific access needs and we'll be completely honest about what's possible.
Bookings and cancellations are handled by Airbnb. The exact policy for your stay is the one shown on the listing at the moment you book.
